‘Stillness’ is an individual portrait piece representing a woman who has reached great tranquility on her journey. She has surpassed the growing phase of trials and tribulations and has finally settled in a place of peace. It’s usually around this time we can process all the time, energy and space we have dedicated to ourselves and are able to stay present in all we have accomplished. This is the time in our lives when we can sit with our decisions from an introspective place and really understand the bigger picture of ‘why’ it had to occur in order for us to be delivered here.
The rose she is delicately holding is a symbol of her passion and dedication to not only herself but to the passions and dreams that have lead her to this realisation of true inner peace.
